The Eagle Ridge Christian volleyball team wasted no time Friday evening showing their talent from the top and bottom of their roster to start the 2023 season by sweeping Providence Classical Academy 3-0 on Friday night. The Eagles cruised to decisive victories of 25-7, 25-5, and 25-9 to dominate the match.

“I was really pleased with how we came out and executed our gameplan against Providence,” said head coach Kristen Martin. “Our serving was aggressive and kept them out of rhythm all night.”

“This was a total team effort,” added Martin. “Our back row played tremendous defense and we passed very well to set up our hitters all match.”

The Eagles will look to keep things rolling next Friday when they host conference foe Liberty Christian Academy. If Friday’s performance was any indication, Eagle Ridge appears locked in and ready for big things this season.
